Arian Rousta is a creative director who has been behind a camera since 2007. He leads a trusted Arizona collective producing film, photography, and digital experiences, and every project runs the same way: listen first, find the voice, assemble the right team, and care about every frame.
Four moments that made the studio.
The first camera
A compact digital camera in Shiraz. Long walks, gardens, rooftops, and the first real habit of looking. Everything since traces back to those afternoons.
Getting serious
Around 2012, the first DSLR. Manual settings, deliberate light, and the shift from taking pictures to making them. The camera stopped being a toy and became a discipline.
Arizona
A move to the United States and the launch of the Arizona business. New light, new desert, new clients, and the slow work of earning trust one project at a time.
Meeting the team
The right people kept showing up on the right sets. That group became Eden Productions, the crew I bring in for larger commercial work, a separate studio with its own name.
Where the eye comes from.
Arian was born in Shiraz into a Persian family of artists. His mother works across watercolor, oil painting, wood carving, design, and wedding gown tailoring. His father is a psychologist. One taught him that beauty is built by hand, patiently. The other taught him that every image is really about people.
He grew up across Iran, India, Turkey, and Dubai, learned English in India, and was published in a national Iranian nature photography competition early in life. That mix of geometry, color, and movement still shapes how the studio frames everything, from a Scottsdale listing to a supercar at dusk.
Trained at volume, refined by choice.
Before growing the studio independently, Arian was Director of Photography at Grads Photography: portraits at volume, graduation and senior photography, yearbook production, and directing large groups on tight timelines. It is unglamorous training and it shows up on every set, in calm direction, quick decisions, and a genuine familiarity with Arizona communities that only comes from photographing their people, season after season.

A shoot starts the same way every time: listen first, find what is real, and care about every frame. Nearly two decades behind a camera means there is not much on a set I have not done myself.

On AI: I use it in the workflow, for concepting and iteration, never as the identity. It is the spice, not the meat. What you are hiring is a real eye and honest judgment. I am also an FAA Part 107 licensed drone pilot, so aerial work is flown legally and framed with the same care as everything else.
