The cap, the gown, the moment.
Years of work end in one short season. I photograph it properly: relaxed direction, campus light at the right hour, and portraits that hold up long after the tassel turns.

From the studio archive.
One season, done right.
Graduation sessions move quickly and mean a lot. My process keeps them calm.
Direction that feels easy
Most grads have never been directed before, and it shows in stiff photos. I keep the prompts simple and the mood light, so the confidence in the frame is real.
Light chosen on purpose
Campus at the right hour looks completely different from campus at noon. I plan every session around the light, and I know where it falls.

This is not my first graduation.
I served as Director of Photography at Grads Photography, directing portrait programs, senior sessions, and yearbook production at volume across Arizona communities. That means season after season of hard earned craft: how to direct someone who hates being photographed, how to move a big family through a shoot without rushing it, and how to make a gown look sharp in desert light.
I photograph graduations across the Valley, from the campuses of Tempe to family celebrations in Scottsdale, Phoenix, and Paradise Valley, and I travel anywhere in Arizona the milestone takes you.
Good to know.
How does booking work?
Start with the contact form. I reply the same day with availability, and a retainer holds your date once the plan is set.
Where do you photograph graduations?
Across Arizona. Most sessions happen on and around campuses in Tempe, Phoenix, and Scottsdale, but I travel throughout the state. If your school or a meaningful location is farther out, I plan the travel into the project.
How are the photographs delivered?
You receive a curated online gallery for viewing, sharing, and downloading, with files prepared for both print and screens. I confirm the timeline up front, and I know graduation photos are often on a deadline, so I plan delivery around your date.
One short season. Let's not miss it.
Tell me the school and the date, and I will build the session around it.
